will never forget the Sunday almost twelve years ago when my family and I had just returned home from church to the warning of a tornado that was headed directly for the community in which my family live.. I remember getting in the house and hearing my father tell me and my siblings to get a mattress and get down in the hallway. While lying under this mattress, I began to fill the Lord knock at the door of my heart. I began to pray and ask the Lord to forgive me of my sins and I asked him to come into my heart and take control of my life. Since that very day I haven't always done the right thing but Ive strived to do the very best I could for the Lord as he has done for me. I can say that God is in my life and he has never (and will never) let me down when others will. He brought my family and I threw some of the worst times and I thank him for it so much. The Lord has blessed me in so many ways. I can think back on times when i have heard people say that they wouldn't know were they would be with out the Lord. As time has passed and the more I have thought about that phrase, I'm absolutely positive that I know were I would be and that's AS LOST AS A SINNER COULD BE. But By God's grace I know that I'm saved and on the road to heaven. But while I'm here on this earth I am going to keep on Fishing. For those of you who are not sure what I mean by that just come watch us minister to others when our ministry is near you and you will see and understand what I mean. I personally have never caught any fish, but the great I AM has. I'm a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Rome Ga. I live and work in Calhoun Ga. as a funeral director.
